What does RefCase do?

RefCase gives sales professionals instant access to customer reference data directly in their browser. Search for relevant customer proof by industry, company size, region, or product usage — or trigger an on-demand scan of any website you're visiting to surface matching references automatically.

Who is RefCase for?

RefCase is designed for B2B sales reps, account executives, and sales managers who need to quickly find and share credible customer references during the sales process.

How do I log in?

RefCase accounts are not self-serve. Login credentials are provided directly to your team after acquiring a RefCase subscription. If you don't have login details yet, please contact our sales team to get started:

Once you have your credentials, click the RefCase icon in your Chrome toolbar to open the extension and log in. Your session will be saved so you don't need to log in each time.

How do I search for a customer reference?

Once logged in, type a keyword, industry, company name, or region into the search bar inside the extension popup. RefCase will return matching customer references from your organization's reference database.

How does the website scan feature work?

When you're browsing a prospect's website, click the button in the RefCase Extension called “Magic Match”. RefCase will read the current site's domain and automatically surface customer references that match the prospect's profile.

 

My search returned no results. What should I do?

• Check that you're logged in

• Try broader search terms (e.g. "fintech" instead of a specific company name)

• Your reference database may not yet have entries matching that criteria — contact your sales enablement team to request additions

 

Can I use RefCase on any website?

Yes. RefCase works across all websites so you can use it wherever you're researching prospects — including LinkedIn, company websites, your CRM, or video call tabs.

 

Is my data safe?

RefCase only uses your login session token and the domain of the page you choose to scan. No browsing history is recorded, no page content is stored, and your data is never sold or shared with third parties.

Troubleshooting

 

The extension isn't loading Try removing and re-adding the extension from Chrome. Go to chrome://extensions, disable and re-enable RefCase, then refresh your browser.

I'm logged out unexpectedly This can happen if your session token expires. Simply log back in through the extension popup.

The website scan isn't returning results Make sure you're on a public-facing company website (not an internal tool or localhost). The scan uses the site's domain to match references, so it works best on prospect or customer-facing URLs.
